When you register or sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile information. This is used to manage your account, authenticate access to the client dashboard, and communicate with you about your project.
During the onboarding process, we collect your business name, domain preferences, design references, brand assets, social media links, and any content or files you upload. This information is used solely to deliver your website project.
All payment transactions are processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. JustScroll does not store, access, or retain your full card details. We only store payment metadata such as transaction IDs, billing amounts, and payment status for our records.
We may collect browser type, device type, IP address, pages visited, and time spent on the platform. This helps us improve our service and diagnose technical issues.
We use your information to: deliver and manage your website project; communicate project updates, invoices, and support messages; process billing and subscriptions through Stripe; improve our platform and services; send service-related announcements (not marketing spam); and comply with legal obligations.
JustScroll uses Stripe to process all payments. When you complete a checkout, your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe's secure servers. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment data. We receive only a confirmation token and transaction status. For recurring subscriptions, Stripe manages the billing cycle and renewal on our behalf.
We use session cookies to keep you logged in and maintain your preferences during a browsing session. These are required for the platform to function.
We may use anonymised analytics tools to understand how visitors interact with our website. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. You may opt out of analytics tracking by adjusting your browser settings or using a browser extension.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with third-party services necessary to deliver our services — including Stripe (payments), our hosting providers (infrastructure), and email delivery services. All third-party providers are bound by data processing agreements and applicable data protection laws.
We retain your account and project information for as long as your account is active or as required to fulfil contractual obligations. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes.
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request corrections to inaccurate data; request deletion of your account and associated data; opt out of non-essential communications; and lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority in your jurisdiction. We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, access controls, and secure infrastructure. While no system is completely impenetrable, we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data from unauthorised access, disclosure, or loss.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-platform notification. Continued use of JustScroll after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
